THE RED ROSE (2005) - During the red scare of the 1950's, Jesús Colón was one of the hundreds of Puerto Ricans, both in NY and in Puerto Rico who were betrayed by Mildred Blauvelt, a NYCity Police undercover agent, and summoned to testify before the House Committee on Unamerican Activities. The Red Rose is a rediscovery of Puerto Rican New York through Colón's adventures. Based on the writings of Jesus Colón. Adapted and directed by Rosalba Rolón.
