For a second consecutive year, Pregones Theater is proud to partner with Lincoln Center Out of Doors to present LA CASITA A Home for the Heart. Now in its seventh season, LA CASITA brings the oral music and poetry traditions of the Caribbean, Native America, the Middle East, and the United States together in one artistic garden under one beautiful roof. Over 26 outstanding poets, bands and troubadours appear in a specially designed “Casita” or Little House setting; the project tours to various New York community sites, and additional activities include a poetry workshop project for youth and free booklet of the poets work in translation.
